Garden City Church is a church in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. We gather around Scripture and meals, worship together, serve alongside our neighbors, and build relationships for the long haul.
We believe gospel renewal comes to both people and places. Through house churches, block parties, service, and local partnerships, we are learning to know, love, and seek the welfare of our community.
We want our presence to preach a different sermon: that this place matters, and these neighbors are worth knowing.

TellTale Coffee began in the Lower Ninth Ward because a good cup of coffee gives people a reason to slow down, gather, and begin a conversation. It creates ordinary opportunities to show up at neighborhood events, welcome people into relationship, and participate in the life of this community.
Coffee is not the mission. It is one practical way we help make a long-term, relational presence more sustainable. Every cup helps create room for shared tables, deeper partnerships, local opportunity, and the patient work of Garden City Church in the Lower Ninth Ward.
